Hey my name is Emily and
I work at the University of Kentucky mentoring student athletes. I am a recent graduate of Asbury College where I got
a degree in Elementary Education. I have worked at the Salvation Army camp in GA 3 of my last 4 summers working with
inner city kids. I loved that and I loved the people I worked with. I miss my friends from both Asbury and from
camp.
I love God, sports, eating, sleeping, boys, and having fun with my friends. My favorite sports
teams are the Atlanta Braves, UGA football, and UK basketball. However; because I work at UK I am beginning to love
UK football as well, but mostly just the guys and not them because they aren't very good at winning. I love GA and if
I could get a job there I would move in a heartbeat.
My dream is to work with inner city kids, and to get them to realize there is more to life than drugs,
and that if they apply themselves they could be anything they wanted to be.
My brother's name is Sam and he got married last summer in Fl. His wedding was like
something out of a movie. He and his wife Ashley live in FL still with a new edition to their family...over
Thanksgiving they got a little Chocolate Lab named Chica. She is super cute, but I know the next time I see her
she won't be so little.
My parents both work at Asbury College. My dad is the Dean of Students,
and my mom is in charge of all the summer conferences they have. They have worked at Asbury for what seems
like forever, but it's only been like 20 years.
I made this sight to show off my friends to anyone that happens upon
this site because my friends are really important to me. I love them and miss them tons. Enjoy!
